The AKER project aims to improve the competitiveness of sugar beet in France by 2020 by doubling the annual rate of yield growth in terms of sugar per hectare (4% vs. 2%), faced with an international environment marked by growing global demand for sugar and the predominance of sugar cane. |

The Breedwheat project aims to push back scientific and technological frontiers to develop new high-yielding wheat varieties that are resistant to drought and diseases and require less nitrogen fertilizer, to meet the challenges of producing quantity and quality in a sustainable development. |
